Midtown Sconce by Barovier&Toso

A tribute to architectural grandeur, Midtown captures the expressive power of Venetian crystal, inspired by early 20th-century architecture and the iconic Manhattan skyline of the 1920s and 30s. Its design is defined by a fragmented geometry, composed of juxtaposed crystal panels of varying dimensions, precision-cut to create a sculptural effect. The surfaces feature subtle vertical and horizontal fluting, giving the glass a refined ribbed texture that retains and diffuses light with a soft,  atmospheric glow. The interplay of staggered planes reinforces Midtown’s decorative identity, using elemental geometry and spatial depth to create a dynamic dialogue of light and shadow, refraction and diffusion.
