An isthmus is a narrow piece of land connecting two larger areas across an expanse of water by which they are otherwise separated. This delicate separation is the spirit of the Isthmus series.
The hand-polished cast glass components of the Isthmus Chandelier are held by asymmetric bronze structures from above. No angles are the same, as the lenses distort the cast bronze shagreen texture in between.
Shown with a linear sequence of 5 pendants, the orientation of each pendant can be rotated as desired, the rectangular ceiling canopy can be finished to match the fixture or ceiling, and drop lengths are customizable.
